1976 911S Signature Edition Coupe 5-Speed
This rare G-body brought out the bids despite needing a bit of work.

Offered to commemorate 25 years of Porsche sports car production, the 911S Signature Edition was a special run limited to just 200 units. Each car came finished in Metallic Platinum with color-matched Fuchs wheels, a Brown and Tweed interior, and a three-spoke sport steering wheel embossed with Ferry Porsche’s signature. Rare and subtle, the Signature Edition remains one to keep an eye on as they often fly under the radar.
This 1976 911S Signature Edition Coupe 5-Speed shows 32k miles and spent most of its life with just two owners in New Jersey and New York before being acquired by the selling dealer in 2025. Repainted under prior ownership, it presents with some wear to the driver’s seat bolster and a split between the bolster and tweed insert along with an in-op AC system. It does, however, include recent service in October 2024 included adjustments to the fuel injection system, cleaning of the injectors, an oil change, and replacement of the fuel filter and heater air hoses.
Signature Editions rarely surface. Other than a heavily modified example that failed to sell last October, you have to go back to April 2024 to find a comp, a 150k-mile car that sold for $50,500. Despite some cosmetic needs, our Spotlight car benefited from low mileage, a repaint, and recent service, helping it achieve a final bid of $67,000.
