1992 911 Turbo S2 Andial
This homologation special snuck under the radar

The 1992 911 Turbo S2 Andial was conceived as a homologation-focused evolution of the 964 Turbo, developed in collaboration with Andial. Cars were shipped to North America in near-standard form, with upgrades completed at selling Porsche dealerships using OEM part numbers sourced from the European 3.3-liter Turbo S Lightweight models that never reached the U.S., allowing Porsche to maintain race-derived intent while remaining EPA and DOT compliant. The heavily reworked 3.3-liter turbocharged flat-six featured Andial modifications including a larger K27 turbocharger, uprated intercooler, ported and polished heads, more aggressive camshafts, revised engine management, and supporting hardware. Just 20 examples were homologated for North America, with two delivered to Canada and 18 to the U.S., making the Turbo S2 one of the rarest 964 variants ever produced.
This 1992 911 Turbo S2 Andial was finished in Carrera White over a Tan interior and showed 36,243 miles. In late 2023, it received a cosmetic refresh including multi-stage paint correction, full-body paint protection film, ceramic coating, and wheel refinishing, along with extensive mechanical servicing by Protosport Inc. addressing known 964 wear points. Modifications included Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, Big Red brakes, a Billy Boat exhaust, air-fuel controller, upgraded steel-braided oil lines, and a leather-wrapped stitched roll bar, with the original exhaust and factory struts included.
As you can image an S2 Andial is quite a rare car. In fact, I haven’t seen one at auction at all. It’s even been a while since we’ve seen a standard 964 Turbo S2 with the last one selling back in 2023 for $235,000. Given the current market, and rarity, the final bid of $426,301 seems quite reasonable. I have a feeling this one’s going to look well bought in the future.
