1998 911 Carrera 4S

A gorgeous Paint-to-Sample example, but RHD!?

The 993 Carrera 4S, introduced in 1995, combined the all-wheel-drive powertrain of the Carrera 4 with the wide Turbo body, creating one of the most desirable naturally aspirated 993s. Produced from 1996 through 1998, it featured the same 3.6-liter flat-six producing 282 hp, paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual. Like the Turbo, it wore 18-inch wheels over red Turbo brake calipers, came with larger brakes and upgraded suspension, and had enhanced interior trim, but without the Turbo’s signature rear wing.

This 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is a right-hand-drive example finished in striking Paint-to-Sample Violet Blue Metallic over Black leather. Imported from the UK in 2024, it shows 56,064 miles and comes with a comprehensive maintenance history dating back to new, meticulously compiled in a 4-inch-thick binder. The car is equipped with a factory rear aero kit wing, Fister mufflers, and includes its original keys, factory tools, and accessories.

Over the past twelve months 993 C4S have averaged $145,300 with a low of $76,500 and a high of $291,000 for a 13,000-mile example finished in Glacier White. Mileage comps for our Spotlight car are fairly wide, with a low of $135,000 and a high of $200,000. Had this been a LHD example, I would say $200k all day. But it was not, and it sold at $153,293 inclusive of buyer’s premium.
