2002 911 GT2
Good thing the previous sale fell apart, because this GT2 performed

The Porsche 911 GT2 distills the raw, motorsport-focused ethos of the 996 GT3 and pairs it with the brute force of the 911 Turbo, creating the fastest and most extreme road-going 911 of its era. With 462 bhp at 5,700 rpm and a massive 457 lb-ft of torque at just 3,500 rpm, the GT2 rockets to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds and pushes on to a staggering 196 mph top speed. Its performance was not just theoretical either, as it lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in an impressive 7:47, quicker than the contemporary 996 GT3 and cementing its reputation as a no-compromise, driver-focused supercar.
This 2002 911 GT2 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black leather and shows 15,000 miles from single ownership. The car presents in excellent condition throughout and is supported by extensive service records and a large photo gallery documenting its history and condition.
Over the last twelve months, 996 GT2 values have averaged $179,000, with a low of $146,000 and a prior high of $211,996. Notably, that previous high was set by this very car last month when it hammered sold, only for the deal to fall through. This time around it did even better, selling at a final bid of $231,000. Well done.
