2007 911 GT3
How much did mods and some dings on the CarFax hold this icon of analog back?

Unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the 997.1-generation GT3 introduced a number of firsts to the GT3 lineup, most notably the inclusion of Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), which allowed drivers to toggle between road and track-focused damping settings. Powered by a 3.6-liter Mezger-derived flat-six producing 415 horsepower and revving to 8,400 rpm, the car paired that high-strung engine with a revised six-speed manual featuring shortened gear ratios and quicker shift throws. The mechanical limited-slip differential, optimized intake and exhaust flow, and lightweight construction made it a compelling choice for enthusiasts seeking a dual-purpose car capable of daily use and weekend circuit work.
This 2007 911 GT3 came finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Black leather & Alcantara interior and showed just over 38,000 miles. It came modified with 20” TechArt wheels, a GTG Racing exhaust system, a Fabspeed air intake, a Kenwood headunit, and Rennline aluminum floorboards. The CarFax showed decent service history with the clutch being replaced in 2023, but also showed two accidents, one in 2012 and another in 2018.
997.1 GT3s have been climbing steady since a big jump in 2022, going from an average price of $117,000 to sit at $135,700 today with a high of $171,000 for a 14,500-mile example back in March of this year. Our Spotlight car sold at a final bid of $115,000, $5k short of its low estimate, but about right on the money considering the mods and accident history.
