2008 911 GT2
It may have had high miles, but it also had a strong history. Bidders agreed.

The 2008–2009 911 GT2 was the most powerful and fastest roadgoing 911 of its time, blending the raw performance of the Turbo with rear-wheel-drive purity. Powered by a 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six producing ~530 hp and a massive 505 lb-ft of torque, much of its extra punch came from upgraded turbochargers and a high-flow titanium exhaust. Mated to a short-throw six-speed manual, the GT2 could sprint from 0–60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and reach a 204-mph top speed, cementing its reputation as a driver’s 911 for those who craved unfiltered speed.
This 2008 Porsche 911 GT2 is one of just 194 examples imported to the US for the model year and comes finished in Carrara White over a Black leather and Alcantara interior. Well-equipped, it features the Sport Chrono, Carbon Interior, and Carbon Switch Panel packages along with carbon-fiber Sport seats, 19″ GT2 wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, Bose surround sound, and carbon-fiber interior trim. An aftermarket front lip spoiler and exhaust tips add a subtle custom touch. Showing 40k miles, it benefits from notable recent service including a coolant leak repair in April 2024, turbocharger rebuilds, and replacement of the ignition switch, battery, drive belt, pulleys, and ignition components earlier in 2025, making it a higher-mileage example with a strong maintenance history.
Over the past twelve months, 997.1 GT2s have averaged $253,400 with a low of $139,126 and a high of $401,000 for a sub-5,000-mile example sold during Car Week last year. With 40,000 miles on the clock, this was the highest-mileage example we’ve seen recently, but condition prevailed as it sold toward the upper range of estimates at a final bid of $225,000.
