2008 911 Turbo Coupe 6-Speed

BIG money for an early 997 Turbo

Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006 for the 2007 model year, the 997 Turbo marked a major step forward over the 996 it replaced. It featured a 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six producing 480 horsepower and introduced Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) turbochargers, significantly reducing lag and improving power delivery. The car also benefited from Porsche Traction Management (PTM), updated stability control, and standard PASM suspension, offering a broader range of comfort and performance. Visually, the 997 returned to classic round headlights and more defined proportions, while the interior saw a substantial upgrade in quality and refinement, making it one of the most well-rounded 911 Turbos of its era.

This 2008 911 Turbo Coupe 6-Speed was finished in Speed Yellow over Black Full Leather and showed 42,000 miles. Sold new in Florida, it later spent nine years in Canada before returning to the U.S. in 2020. It was well optioned with Sport Seats featuring painted shells, a painted center console, yellow seat belts, and extended leather on the dash and door panels. Modifications included 19-inch aftermarket wheels and a lowered suspension. Backed by a solid service history and a clean CarFax, it presented in excellent condition with a gallery full of (amazing) photos and paint meter readings.

Over the past twelve months, 997.1 Turbo Coupe values have averaged $108,000, with a low of $46,250 and a high of $226,000 for a 3,200-mile example equipped with PCCB brakes. That was the only car to crack the $200k mark over the past year, until our Spotlight Car joined it, bringing an incredible $209,000 against high mileage comps around $140k. Extremely well sold.
