2008 911 Turbo Coupe 6-Speed
1,800 miles and not a new high? What gives?

Making its debut at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, Porsche’s sixth-generation 911 Turbo, the 997, raised the bar for their flagship rocket sending it from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. Its 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six utilized variable turbine geometry turbos, a first in a gasoline-powered car, to produce 473 bhp and 502 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful series-production 911 of its time.
This 2008 911 Turbo Coupe 6-Speed came finished in Guards Red over a Sand Beige Full Leather interior and showed an impressively low 1,800 miles on the odometer. It was lightly optioned from the factory with Sport Chrono Package Turbo and a few other accoutrements, and looked to be in excellent condition, as you would expect for a car with such low miles.
Over the last twenty-four months, 997 Coupes have remained fairly flat with averages hovering just over the $100,000 mark. During that time, we’ve seen a high of $226,000 for a 3,600-mile example, but the highest price paid for an example in the past five years was $285,997 for a car with just 78 miles on the clock. Our Spotlight car sold at a final bid of $181,000, quite the sum, but a decent clip short of second place. The biggest difference between the two cars? Options. Whereas this one was pretty light, that $226k car was heavy on options and included PCCB brakes, Carbon interior bits, and more. Still, solid price and fair deal for a low mileage 997.
