2008 Boxster S Limited Edition 6-Speed
Low miles, but not the lowest. Still, it brought the bids.

The 987.1 Boxster S Limited Edition stood out with its striking Orange exterior, inspired by the 911 GT3 RS, and complemented by unique Orange interior accents. Performance enhancements included a sport-tuned suspension and a sports exhaust system, providing a more exhilarating driving experience. Inside, the car featured Alcantara-trimmed Sport Seats, a Sport Steering Wheel, and addition Alcantara accents. With only 250 units produced, this limited edition model offered exclusivity and collectible appeal to Porsche enthusiasts.
This 2008 Boxster S Limited Edition 6-Speed was finished in Orange over Black leather and Alcantara and showed just 14,000 miles. Number 22 of 250 produced, it presented as a very nice, well-kept example. Recent service included an oil change and battery replacement in April 2025, and the sale also included Panorama issues featuring Limited Editions on the cover.
Over the past twelve months, Boxster S Limited Edition values have averaged $44,400, with a low of $39,237 and a high of $48,000 for a 1,800-mile example sold last October, albeit located in Anchorage, Alaska. Only two other cars have traded during that time, all with mileage in the 20,000-mile range. Our Spotlight Car exceeded the previous high, selling at a final bid of $49,999, which makes you wonder what that 1,800-mile car might have brought had it been located in the lower 48.
