2010 911 Carrera S Coupe 6-Speed

No X51, no PTS. That didn't matter for this new 5-year high

Compared to the standard Carrera, the 997.2-generation Carrera S Coupe represents a meaningful step up in both performance and precision. At its heart is a reengineered 3.8-liter flat-six engine—no carryover parts from its predecessor—delivering 355 hp, a 30-hp gain over the base model, and a larger bore and shorter stroke for sharper, giving it high-revving character. The Carrera S also benefits from Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) tuned for improved compliance in Normal mode and greater composure in Sport. Visually, the S shares the refreshed 997.2 look but pairs it with standard 19-inch wheels and was also among the first 911s to offer Porsche’s lightning-quick, dual-clutch PDK transmission—replacing Tiptronic S—making it quicker, more efficient, and more refined than ever.

This 2010 911 Carrera S Coupe 6-Speed came finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black leather interior and showed just 18,000 miles on the odometer. It came optioned with Porsche’s Sport Seats, Sport Exhaust, Bose, and PCM with Navigation for an original MSRP of $102,765. It looked to be in very nice condition with plenty of photos which included engine data reads and plenty of service records.

Sure, this 997.2 C2S had low miles, great service history, and some nice sport options, but it was missing things like the X51 package and an interesting color. Both of which are usually the recipe for a result like the $108,000 hammer price this one brought, which is not only a new twelve month high, but a new five-year as well as $26,000 more than this car brought back in November of 2021. Very well sold.
