2010 911 GT3 RS
I know, another 997 GT3 RS beats the market. What's new?

Unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the 997.2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS was a track-focused evolution of the GT3, built to homologate the race-spec GT3 R and engineered for uncompromised performance. Its 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six produced 444 horsepower at 7,900 rpm and 317 lb-ft of torque at 6,750 rpm, and came paired with shorter transmission ratios to deliver sharper acceleration and a redline of 8,500 rpm. Standard features included PASM suspension, dynamic engine mounts, titanium connecting rods, a widened track, and a fixed carbon fiber rear wing for a more aggressive look than the GT3.
This 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is one of just 541 examples built for the U.S. market during a two-year production run and is finished in Carrara White over Black leather and Alcantara upholstery. Showing 9,000 miles, it features gold exterior accents, gold-finished 19″ center-lock wheels, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, a fixed rear wing, bi-xenon headlights, a front-axle lift system, and carbon-fiber-backed sport seats. Modifications include a GMG exhaust system, a white GMG roll cage, and a 991-generation steering wheel. In June 2022, the factory metal coolant tubes were pinned, and in March 2025, routine maintenance included an oil change, new ignition coils, and spark plugs. A CarFax entry from August 2017 notes front-end damage, reportedly resulting from a deer strike, which led to replacement of the front bumper cover, right fender, headlights, and radiator.
We’ve seen this particular GT3 RS a few times over the years, first failing to sell back in October of 2022 at a final bid of $241,000 followed by a sale of $242,000 in May the following year. Since then, prices have increased by about $20,000 to sit at a twelve-month average of $282,600 today. Despite the accident and the modifications, our Spotlight car out-performed the market bump, selling at around $50k more than two years ago at a final bid of $294,997.
