2010 911 Sport Classic

A new benchmark result for a rare 997

The 2010 911 Sport Classic debuted at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show as a limited-production model built by Porsche’s Exclusive department and capped at just 250 units, none of which were officially offered in the US. Finished in unique Sport Classic Grey with Light Grey stripes, it featured a double-bubble roof and a fixed ducktail-style rear spoiler inspired by the 1973 Carrera RS 2.7. Based on the Carrera S, it was powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six fitted with a power kit that raised output to 408 horsepower, paired exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox. The interior was trimmed in Espresso Natural eather with distinctive woven leather and fabric seat and door panel inserts.

This 2010 Porsche 911 Sport Classic was finished in the model’s signature Sport Classic Grey over an Espresso Natural Leather interior and showed just 123 miles. Although not originally offered in the US, this example was imported in late 2010 and has remained exceptionally low mileage since. Annual service was performed and a new battery was installed in October 2025, rounding out what remains a remarkably preserved example of one of Porsche Exclusive’s most limited modern builds.

Over the past twelve months, only five 911 Sport Classic examples have crossed the block, with sales generally landing in the $400,000–500,000 range. For context, the previous auction high stood at $654,000 for a 150-mile example back in 2019. Our Spotlight car reset that benchmark in decisive fashion, selling for $775,000.
