2010 Cayenne S Transsyberia

Super high miles, but the right color combo

The Cayenne S Transsyberia was introduced for the 2010 model year to celebrate Porsche’s dominance in the grueling Transsyberia Rally, a 4,500-mile off-road endurance event that crossed Russia from Moscow to Mongolia. Porsche-backed Cayennes won the event multiple times, proving the SUV was far more capable off-road than many enthusiasts expected. Limited to just 285 examples worldwide, the Transsyberia edition was based on the Cayenne S and featured a naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8, unique graphics, off-road-focused equipment, 18-inch wheels, additional underbody protection, and distinctive interior trim.

This 2010 Cayenne S Transsyberia came finished in Black with the signature Orange graphics and matching Orange wheels over a Black interior accented by Orange gauges and trim. Showing 189,600 miles, it naturally exhibited some wear here and there, though it presented surprisingly well given the mileage. The seller noted a slight oil drip from time to time and that the rear air suspension would not lower in Sport mode, but otherwise the truck was backed by a fairly extensive recent service history. For a vehicle built to tackle Siberia, I’d say it’s worn those miles rather well.

Over the past twelve months, we’ve seen six Cayenne S Transsyberias cross the block, with half of them finding new homes. Prices ranged from $14,750 for another 189,000-mile example to $44,000 for an 86,000-mile truck, both finished in the signature Black and Orange color combination. Our Spotlight Car sold at a final bid of $17,250. While I thought it might sneak past the $20,000 mark, this was probably all the money given the noted needs.
