2010 Cayenne S Transsyberia
Overland mods and the right color combination were the perfect recipe for a new high

The Cayenne S Transsyberia pays tribute to the brand’s dominant performance in the grueling Transsyberian Rally, where Cayennes took a commanding one-two finish in 2006 and again led the field in 2007. Based on the Cayenne S and powered by the 405-hp 4.8-liter V8 from the GTS, the Transsyberia Edition was built for rugged endurance with air suspension, PASM adaptive dampers, and Porsche Traction Management featuring a rear-biased 62% torque split. Visual nods to its rally heritage include roof-mounted driving lights and bold two-tone paint schemes, like Black over Orange or Silver over Meteor Grey, paired with matching interior accents. Only a limited number were produced, making it a standout among modern Porsche off-roaders.
This 2010 Cayenne S Transsyberia is one of just 285 examples built, and one of only 56 specified in Black with Orange accents for the North American market. Showing 86k miles, it has been modified with a swing-away spare tire carrier, upgraded air suspension links, a front bull bar with a Warn winch and Baja Designs lights, and an aftermarket roof rack with a pop-up awning. Recent work includes a new air conditioning blower motor and regulator in May 2024, while service between 2022 and 2023 saw the replacement of the coolant expansion tank, EVAP canister, high-pressure fuel lines, and ignition coils.
Over the past twelve months, Cayenne S Transsyberias have averaged $22,800, with sales ranging from $14,750 to $30,303. Estimates for this example were set at $30,000–$45,000, and it ultimately sold for $44,000. The result made sense, as Cayenne buyers place a premium on well-executed overland modifications, while Transsyberia enthusiasts particularly value the Black and Orange livery. No surprise we got ourselves a new high here.
