2011 911 Speedster
A solid result for our highest mileage Speedster this year

Introduced for the 2011 model year, the 911 Speedster paid direct homage to the original 356 Speedster while serving as one of the most distinctive swan songs of the 997 generation. Production was limited to just 356 examples, each lowered 60mm along with a more steeply raked windshield and the signature double-bubble rear cover. Power came from a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat six producing 408 horsepower, a 23-hp bump over the Carrera S, making the Speedster as serious from a performance standpoint as it was visually dramatic.
This 2011 911 Speedster was finished in the model’s debut color combination of Pure Blue over a Black and Pure Blue leather interior and showed fewer than 10,000 miles on the odometer. The car presented very well, backed by a one-owner CarFax and a strong service history, with the gallery including detailed photos along with the original window sticker and books. A properly kept example of one of the most recognizable modern Speedsters.
Over the past twelve months, 2011 Speedsters have averaged $283,800 with a low of $270,000 and a high of $297,500 for a 1,400-mile Pure Blue example. Our Spotlight car landed at the bottom of that range as it had the highest mileage by far, but still exceeded expectations, selling at a final bid of $270,000 and edging past high estimates of $265,000.
