2012 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet 6-Speed
This final-year 997 GTS beat its last sale, despite 5k more miles

The 997.2 Carrera GTS arrived as the top step of the Carrera lineup, pairing a 408-horsepower 3.8-liter flat-six with chassis tuning and equipment aimed squarely at closing the gap to the GT3. It was the only rear-wheel-drive 997 to use the 44-millimeter wider Carrera 4 body, giving it a broader stance and improved stability, and it came standard with distinctive touches like black 19-inch center-lock RS Spyder wheels. The result was a car that blended everyday usability with genuine performance gains, making it one of the most compelling variants of the 997 era.
This 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet 6-speed showed 44,000 miles and was finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a Black interior. It came with a handful of modifications, including SpeedTech exhaust headers, a Kenwood touchscreen stereo, and an upgraded sound system. Recent maintenance included new pads and rotors and a brake fluid flush in December 2023, along with a clutch replacement in 2020. The CarFax did show an incident in March 2013, but overall it presented as a clean, driver-focused example.
Over the past twelve months, 997.2 GTS Cabriolets have averaged $104,800 with a low of $85,500 and a high of $118,000. Our Spotlight car last sold in January 2022 for $82,500 and brought $83,000 this time around, even with an extra 5,000 miles.
