2015 Boxster GTS 6-Speed

In a hot market, this 981 failed to bring the heat

The 981 Boxster GTS took the already capable Boxster S and elevated it with a meaningful mix of power and standard performance hardware. Its 3.4-liter flat-six was tuned to 330 horsepower, but the bigger draw was the inclusion of the Sport Chrono Package and PASM as standard equipment, giving the GTS sharper responses and a noticeably more focused feel. Darkened exterior trim, revised fascias, and GTS-specific interior touches like leather and Alcantara with a Sport Design steering wheel set it apart visually. Altogether, it was the sweet spot in the 981 lineup, offering real performance gains without sacrificing everyday usability.

This 2015 Boxster GTS 6-Speed came finished in Black over a Black leather and Alcantara interior and showed 38,000 miles. Recent work in 2025 included a replacement instrument cluster, right headlight, fuel pump, front spoiler, battery, and new belt, tensioner, and pulleys. It last sold in 2019 at a final bid of $52,000, but since then had a minor accident on the CarFax in July of this year with work completed on the front lip spoiler, right headlight, and underbody panels.

Over the last twelve months, 981 Boxster GTS models have averaged $66,000, with a low of $56,981 and a high of $75,000 for a well-optioned Carmine Red example with 26,000 miles. Comps for our Spotlight car, with 38,000 miles, sat comfortably in the $60–70,000 range, but it didn’t come close, failing to sell at a final bid of just $43,000.
