2016 911 Carrera GTS Coupe 7-Speed
An end-of-an-era normally aspirated 911 resets the market

The 991.1 Carrera GTS occupied a special place in the 911 lineage as the final GTS to feature a naturally aspirated engine before Porsche switched the Carrera lineup to turbocharged power for the 991.2 generation. Its 3.8-liter flat-six produced 430 horsepower, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated non-GT engine Porsche had offered in a 911 at the time. Paired with a sport exhaust and available with either a manual or PDK, the GTS delivered a level of responsiveness and sound that would disappear with the arrival of the turbocharged era, helping cement its status as one of the most desirable modern Carrera models.
This 2016 911 Carrera GTS Coupe came finished in Guards Red over Black leather and paired its 430-horsepower flat-six with the desirable 7-speed manual transmission. Showing just 11,000 miles, it appeared to be an excellent example throughout, backed by hundreds of detailed photos in the gallery including paint meter readings, service records, and a DME report.
Over the past twelve months, 991.1 Carrera GTS Coupe values have averaged $108,900, with a low of $79,000 and a high of $140,000 for a 9,000-mile Guards Red example equipped with a 7-speed as well. Despite showing slightly higher mileage, our Spotlight Car had no trouble surpassing that mark, hammering at a final bid of $160,000 and resetting the twelve-month high.

You may have a more expensive watch in your drawer. But this will be the one on your wrist.
Two things that always go hand in hand are Porsche and watches. Every Porschephile I know is also a watch nerd, and just like Porsches, watches can be enjoyed at all price points.
Enter Jay Turkbas, founder of Sheffield Watches. Jay approached me two years ago when he was relaunching his new microbrand, inspired by his original Sheffield watch from the 1970s. He took that inspiration and paired it with more than 30 years in product development to bring back the classic Sheffield Dive Watch line, a name once known for honest, low-price-point quality in 1950s New York.
Today Sheffield Watches has grown to more than 20 models and has partnered with names like Spike Feresten of Spikes Car Radio and Jay Leno, with one of my favorites, the Jay Leno’s Garage Driver’s Watch. Throughout that growth, Jay has kept the same Sheffield philosophy alive, creating watches at accessible price points that outperform expectations in build quality and performance. Give Sheffield Watches a look. I think you will be just as impressed as I am.To read the FULL Stuttgart Market Letter, with Noteworthy Sales (and No Sales), New Listings, and a full rundown of every Porsche sold today, subscribe below.
