2016 Cayman GT4 DeMan 4.5l
It's been a while since we've seen a build like this.

DeMan Motorsports has made quite the name for themselves over the years both on the track, and on the street, with their big-bore Caymans and Boxsters. What started out as a passion project for shop owner Rick DeMan to get more power out of his personal GT4, has turned into a business pumping out 4.5-liter builds for customers around the world.
This 2016 Cayman GT4 is one such DeMan Motorsports creation, coming finished in Jet Black Metallic over Black leather and Alcantara and showing 32,000 miles. Purchased by the seller in 2019, it was transformed by DeMan with their 4.5-liter version of the GT4’s 3.8-liter flat-six along with shorter second-through-fifth gears, a revised flywheel and clutch, limited-slip differential, oil cooler, exhaust upgrades, and GT4 Clubsport-spec camber plates. Dyno results included with the sale showed an impressive 536 hp and 409 lb-ft of torque. Wild considering these came with 385 hp out of the box.
Over the past twelve months, I don’t believe we’ve seen a “street” DeMan-modified 981 GT4, but a few years ago, they were bringing market price plus not too far off the cost of the build itself, which is pretty impressive for a modified car. Had this been a stock GT4, estimates would have been in the $86,400-$120,500 range, as values have crept up over the past six months. Our Spotlight Car sold at a final bid of $127,500, so considering what a DeMan 4.5-liter conversion costs, that looks like one heck of a deal to me.
