2017 911 Carrera S Coupe Endurance Racing Edition
This rare 911 failed to go the distance

The 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S Endurance Racing Edition is a rare tribute to Porsche's exceptional three consecutive overall victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2015–2017 with the Type 919 Hybrid. Unveiled at Goodwood in 2016, this special edition was limited to just 235 units globally, with only 100 allocated to North America. Available in Red, White, or Black, each Endurance Racing Edition features distinctive graphics highlighting "Porsche Intelligent Performance" along with Porsche’s Carbon Fiber Interior Package, a red 12 o’clock steering wheel marker, Guards Red seatbelts, distinctive stitching and embroidery, and bespoke logo door sills as part of the Endurance Racing Edition Package.
This 2017 911 Carrera S Coupe Endurance Racing Edition came finished in Black and showed 26,000 miles on the odometer. It had been modified with “X51” side decals, which alludes to the dealer-installed Exclusive 3.0S Powerkit, increasing output to 450 HP through upgraded turbochargers and special engine tuning. Overall, the car looked to be in very nice condition and came with a clean CarFax with service records up to 2023.
The last Endurance Racing Edition to be auctioned here in the US was a 15,000-mile White example that sold for $114,500 in January of 2024. Prior to that we had a Black 44k-mile car sell for $91,500 the year before. Our Spotlight car failed to sell at a final bid of $80,000, which would be light even for your standard 991.2 Carrera S. It is now listed in PCARMARKET’s Marketplace (formerly Deal Tank) with a Buy Now of $130,000. A little hefty if you ask me. I’d be a buyer just over $100k.
