2017 Macan Turbo Performance Package

Big performance, small price to pay. This one was a steal

Unveiled at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show and launched in the U.S. as a 2015 model, the Porsche Macan Turbo marked the brand’s bold entry into the compact luxury SUV segment. Named after the Indonesian word for "tiger," the Macan delivered on that promise with sharp handling, aggressive styling, and strong performance. At its heart was a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V6 producing 395 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, enabling 0–60 mph in just 4.5 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package. Designed for those who wanted the spirit of a sports car with added space and everyday usability, the Macan Turbo offered a compelling blend of practicality and performance.

This 2017 Macan Turbo is equipped with the desirable Turbo Performance Package, which adds the Turbo Exclusive Powerkit, a Sport Exhaust system, and enhanced driving dynamics. Finished in Jet Black Metallic with Black exterior trim, it rides on Satin Platinum 21" Sport Classic wheels and features the Sport Chrono Package. The interior is trimmed in Black leather and Alcantara with the Turbo Interior Package in Garnet Red and optional Carbon Fiber Interior bits. Showing 70,000 miles, the car looked to be well maintained, with recent service including new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, brake rotors, pads, and fluid changes, as well as transaxle fluid and upper timing cover bolt replacement—all documented in the accompanying records. A comprehensive photo gallery and service history further support this well-cared-for example.

Average prices for Macan Turbos have been on the decline over the last three years with average prices going from $49,000 in 2022 to sit at $28,500 today with a low of $15,100 and a high of $60,750 for a wild Mamba Green example with 37k. Our Spotlight car was equipped with the rare Turbo Performance Package, so I thought for certain it would sell well above average, even with the miles, as historically, the package has. But it sold at a final bid of $31,000 against a $35-45,000 estimate, making this one an absolute steal considering the service history and condition. Well bought.
