2018 911 GT2 RS
A new twelve-month high confirms a rising tide for this legendary RS

The 991.2 GT2 RS debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed as the most powerful production 911 Porsche had ever built. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six producing 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, it sent all of that power exclusively to the rear wheels through a PDK transmission. Extensive use of carbon fiber, aggressive aerodynamics, and chassis components borrowed from the GT3 RS helped make it not only brutally fast in a straight line, but also a formidable track weapon. The result was a car that pushed the rear-engine 911 formula to its absolute limit and quickly became one of the most sought-after modern Porsches.
This 2018 911 GT2 RS came finished in White over a Black leather and Alcantara interior and showed just 433 miles. Nicely optioned with the Weissach Package, Magnesium wheels, Front Axle Lift, and Guards Red gauges, it carried an original MSRP of $337,750. As you’d expect from a GT2 RS with such low mileage, the car appeared to be in excellent condition throughout and was accompanied by detailed photos, service history, and its original window sticker.
Over the past twelve months, 991.2 GT2 RS values have averaged $554,700, with a low of $452,500 and a high of $733,420 for a 293-mile White example sold in May. Prior to that sale, it typically took a sub-1,000-mile Paint-to-Sample car or something in one of the desirable blues to crack the $600,000 mark. Our Spotlight Car proved the market has moved considerably higher, setting a new twelve-month high at a final bid of $760,000. Chalk up another big win for the Rennsport Collection from Group C Curation.
