2020 718 Boxster Spyder 6-Speed

This Spyder sold at a number most sellers have balked at.

The 718 Boxster Spyder was released in 2019 as a 2020 model and marked a major shift from the standard 718 lineup by returning to naturally aspirated power. It used a 4.0-liter flat-six producing 414 horsepower, good for a 0–60 mph time of about 4.4 seconds with the six-speed manual and a top speed just under 190 mph. Compared to the previous-generation 981 Spyder, it offered more power, a stiffer GT-derived chassis shared with the 718 Cayman GT4, and a sharper overall focus, firmly positioning it as a no-nonsense, driver-first roadster.

This 2020 718 Boxster Spyder 6-Speed came finished in Gentian Blue Metallic over a Black leather and Alcantara interior with Silver stitching and showed 7,000 miles. It was nicely optioned with Full Bucket Seats, BOSE, and Satin Black painted wheels, and was fitted with a Soul Performance exhaust. The car presented in very nice condition and was supported by ample service history, a clean CarFax, and a DME report.

Over the last twelve months, 718 Boxster Spyder values have averaged $125,000, with a low of $103,000 and a high of $235,000. In the 7,000-mile range, several examples have sold around $125,000, while a number of others have failed in the $104,000–114,000 range. Our Spotlight car landed in the latter group, hammering at a final bid of $112,718.
