2021 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition

Quite the difference a few months makes

The 2021 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition debuted in 2020 as the first model in Porsche’s Heritage Design series, a collection of special editions inspired by different eras of the brand’s history. This first release looked back to the 1950s and 1960s, blending modern 992 performance with vintage design cues like classic badging, gold accents, corduroy interior inserts, and historical livery elements. Based on the Targa 4S and limited to 992 units, it paired the 443-horsepower twin-turbo flat-six with one of the most distinctive retro-inspired specifications Porsche has offered in recent years.

This 2021 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, number 625 of 992 produced, was finished in Paint-to-Sample Oslo Blue over Bordeaux Red and Atacama Beige upholstery and showed 2,300 miles. Optioned with Adaptive Sport Seats, Rear Axle Steering, BOSE, and more, it carried an original MSRP of $204,300.

Over the past twelve months, Heritage Design Edition values have averaged $227,000, with a low of $188,700 and a high of $274,400, held by this exact car when it sold at Amelia back in March. While it was the highest-mileage example we’ve seen, the Paint-to-Sample Oslo Blue clearly outweighed that at the time. Our Spotlight Car sold this go around at a final bid of $215,000. A bit of a deal if you ask me.
