2022 718 Boxster 25 Years Edition 6-Speed

Was it the color combo that held this special edition Boxster back?

The 718 Boxster 25 Years was introduced to celebrate 25 years of the Boxster and paid homage to the 1993 Boxster concept car that started it all. Production was limited to 1,250 units worldwide, with most finished in GT Silver Metallic with Satin Neodyme accents, though Deep Black Metallic and Carrara White Metallic were also available. In a nod to the original concept, the car paired a Bordeaux leather interior with a Red fabric convertible top featuring embossed “Boxster 25” lettering, both optionally available in Black, along with an aluminum interior package and “Boxster 25” door sill trims.

This 2022 718 Boxster 25 Years Edition 6-Speed was finished in GT Silver Metallic with a Black soft top and Black leather interior and showed 5,000 miles. It was optioned with the Premium Package, PASM Sport Suspension, Bordeaux Red instrument dials, and additional equipment, bringing the original MSRP to $106,960. Overall, it presented as a very nice low-mileage example with a clean CarFax and solid service history.

Over the past twelve months, only one 718 Boxster 25 Years Edition has sold, a 34,500-mile Carrara White example that brought $83,500. The next closest comp dates back to July 2024, when a 3,000-mile car sold for $94,500. Our Spotlight car failed to sell at a final bid of $84,999. Had it had that killer Bordeaux interior, there probably would have been more here.
