2022 Boxster 25 Years 6-Speed
With more failing to sell than not, this Boxster 25 brought a surprising result

The 718 Boxster 25 Years was a limited-edition model celebrating the iconic roadster’s quarter-century legacy. Based on the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, it features a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six producing 394 horsepower, paired with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed PDK. Exclusive design elements, including Neodyme bronze accents, special badging, and a Bordeaux Red leather interior, pay tribute to the original Boxster concept. A sport-tuned suspension and lightweight construction enhance agility, while the manually operated soft top maintains the car’s classic charm.
This 2022 Boxster 25 Years 6-Speed came finished in Carrara White Metallic over a Bordeaux Red Full Leather interior and showed 34,500 miles on the odometer. Other options on this 718 included Porsche’s Premium Package, PASM, and Power Steering Plus for an original MSRP of $104,840. Overall, this example was in very nice condition and came from single-ownership with new tires, brakes, full PPF, and service.
Over the last twelve months, only two Boxster 25 Years have crossed the block, with a 3,000-mile 6-Speed in GT Silver selling at $94,500 and a PDK-equipped 7,000-mile GT Silver example failing to sell at $73,000. Looking further back, these cars have failed to sell more often than not, with a sell-through rate of just 36% and no mileage comps even close to our Spotlight car. Given the info at hand, I had this one in the $60–75,000 range. But it looks like being a one-owner example with new brakes and tires—plus standing out in White—paid off, as it hammered at a final bid of $83,500. Well sold.
