2023 718 Boxster GTS 4.0

Spec and miles drove the price on this end-of-an-era Boxster

The 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 sits between the standard GTS and the more focused Spyder, pairing everyday usability with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six that’s closely related to the Spyder’s engine. As the last non-GT Porsche offered without turbocharging, it delivers 395 bhp at 7800 rpm and 310 lb-ft at 5000 rpm, good for a 0 to 60 time of 4.3 seconds. It essentially gives you the sound, character, and response of the big-displacement 4.0 while keeping the comfort and features that make the regular GTS so livable.

This 2023 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 came finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Black and Bordeaux Red leather interior and showed 4,400 miles. It was well equipped with a PDK transmission, Premium Package, Ventilated Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, BOSE audio, Bordeaux Red belts, and Carbon Fiber interior trim, all set off by Black-finished 20'“ 718 Sport wheels.

Over the past twelve months, PDK 718 Boxster GTS 4.0s have averaged $79,700 with a narrow spread, from a low of $78,888 to a high of $80,500 for an 11,300 mile car sold late last year. Our Spotlight car blew past all of those benchmarks, selling at a final bid of $99,000. That makes it the highest result for any PDK equipped example and even eclipses every 6 speed sale thanks to its miles and standout spec.
