2023 718 Cayman GT4 RS

Prices remain steady despite new car availability

The 718 Cayman GT4 RS, unveiled in 2021, marked the first time Porsche’s mid-engine Cayman received the RS treatment traditionally reserved for the 911. Powered by a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six derived from the 911 GT3, it produces 493 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque with a screaming 9,000 rpm redline. Performance is elevated through significant aero upgrades, including a swan-neck mounted fixed rear wing that generates 25% more downforce than the standard GT4. Capable of 0–62 mph in just 3.4 seconds, the GT4 RS underscored its credentials by lapping the Nürburgring Nordschleife a full 23 seconds quicker than the GT4, firmly establishing it as the ultimate expression of the Cayman platform.

This 2023 718 Cayman GT4 RS comes finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Black leather and Gray Race-Tex interior and shows 3,100 miles. From the factory it was optioned with the Weissach Package, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, and the $15k 20-inch forged magnesium wheels, while further equipment includes the Chrono Package, a front-axle lift system, and carbon-fiber full bucket seats. Recent service in January 2025 saw the oil changed and spark plugs replaced. With its desirable options, strong specification, and modest mileage, it stands out as a very nice and highly specced example.

Over the past twelve months, GT4 RS have averaged $201,900, with results ranging from a low of $168,000 to a high of $250,000. Comparable mileage and spec examples tend to fall in the $185,000 to $205,000 range, which set expectations for this one. With its desirable Weissach Package, Magnesium Wheels, and modest mileage, it landed right in line, selling at a final bid of $203,000.
